oldgirlsnet.work is an artist collective of female artists. The collective was founded in December 2025 by: Selma Dronkers, Sandra Mackus, and Thérèse Zoekende.
By establishing the collective, we aim to help and support each other and other female artists in their work and personal matters.
Why? Because:
Women still regularly hold a subordinate position in the art world compared to men. The trend is cautiously encouraging, but there is still a long way to go towards full equality. Consider, for example: income equality, an equal distribution of subsidies, and equal representation.
What can we women do about this inequality? How can we empower each other? How do you secure a solid position in the art world?
oldgirlsnet.work wants to reflect on these questions and find answers.
By uniting ourselves in a collective, we create a positive artistic climate for our art. We want to make the process and the (intermediate) results of our artistic collaboration visible through exhibitions and publications.

In this song, Cool Cat is so captivating that she absorbs all the attention and energy in the room, and leaves others in their shade. Freddie was a generous person: he is totally fine with it.
The song was co-written by Freddie Mercury and bassist John Deacon, and it was inspired by Freddie’s love for his feline companion.

Pas de Deux 5/11
Pas de Deux 8/18 and Pas de Deux 5/11 depict an interaction between two characters: Samurette from “Samurette in the Castle Garden” (graphic novel) and Samurette from “Samurette and the Pierced Heart” (webtoon/digital comic).
The art works hint at the psychological concept of inner dialogue: the conversation with different parts of yourself in which you reflect and give meaning to thoughts, feelings and experiences.

This art work made by my dear friend Sandra happens to be a real conversation piece.
“The smallest feline is a masterpiece” quoted Leonardo da Vinci. And It was sitting on his ‘pedastal’ in our neighbourhood. My friend passed by on her way to my home, and made a photograph….and later this beautiful drawing.
It was funny because on this street cabinet I stuck several martial arts stickers. One with a Tiger and one Girls-Karate sticker. Graffiti Street Art Stickering is an interesting way of expressing and communicating art. It invites others to respond. Soon you get an interesting composition of multiple stickers. I like the ‘diervriendelijk vlees bestaat niet’ (Animal-fiendly meat does not exist) sticker! We should actually make a sticker of this drawing and stick it on the street cabinet!
Please go to the account of Sandra to see her art! Her drawings are fabulous, I really like them a lot. She recently finishes a huge and impressive project about endangered species. Drawings of her Train Station Project have been turned into a postage stamp. Very cool!
