In Giletti’s Message, Giletti is in conversation with his blackbelt friend Bayleigh about his latest project which ended not so favorable for him. He had a cameo appearance in The Charterhouse of Parma: the epic novel of the 19th century French writer Stendhal. And played a small but highly dramatic role in the graphic novel Samurette’s Puppetry, where dolls play famous literary characters. The whole experience has left him a bit puzzled about how much his personality over- laps with the role he was recently cast for.
Thérèse Zoekende (1972) studied Fine Arts at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. Together with fellow artist and karateka Patrick Koster she founded karate school ki club.cool. In the years 1998-2002 Thérèse exhibited drawings at The Living Room Gallery. She created the martaial arts comic book character Samurette: the female counterpart of Samurai. Samurette in the Castle Garden (2021) is the first book in the Samurette series.
