Story of Samurette and Lady Cab Driver:
Years ago, in 2017, Samurette falls off the radar in the days before Christmas when she is on her way to the Party Of Special Things To Do with Lady Cab Driver. For a long time we hear nothing from her, we only receive an occasional postcard from her from Tarotland. All in all, Samurette has sent more than a hundred cards. Her spirit mother tries to reconstruct what happened by means of the cards she sent.
Music:
The graphic novel Book of Cards is told through drawings on which sometimes cards are pasted. On these stickers, in most cases, we see a snapshot-like collage depicting Samurette and Lady Cab Driver combined with lyrics from two songs:
* Lady Cab Driver, Prince, album 1999 of 1982
* Party Of Special Things To Do, Captain Beefheart, album Bluejeans & Moonbeans of 1974.
On page 22 of Book of Cards, both best friends begin their trip.
